Stratford Transfer Station

Located on the Stratford-Maffra Road, the facility allows residents to responsibly manage household waste, accepting domestic landfill refuse, recyclables, and green waste. To ensure the site remains focused on everyday residential needs, individual loads are capped at a maximum capacity of two cubic metres, with larger or commercial volumes directed to the central Kilmany Resource Recovery Centre. For the convenience of local users, the facility is equipped with modern payment infrastructure, accepting both cash and card/EFTPOS transactions.

The station operates on a concise, part-time schedule tailored to the community's mid-week and weekend requirements. It is open to the public three days a week: Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
